Dedicated career advisor passionate about helping MBA students unlock their potential and achieve career success. At MIT Sloan, she provides tailored guidance and coaching, empowering students to identify, leverage, communicate, and cultivate their strengths.

Prior to her role at MIT Sloan, Georgette made a significant impact at Simmons University, where she managed the Simmons Leadership Conference – the longest-running women's leadership forum in the United States. Before that, she served as Associate Director of Career Services at the Simmons School of Management, where she advised graduate students and alumni from MBA, Healthcare MBA, and Communications Management programs while leading a wide array of career development initiatives.

Beyond the Office:

Beyond her professional life, Georgette is a working mom who enjoys simple pleasures. She loves diving into a good book, collecting seaglass, and long-distance running (she has run 11 marathons). Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Georgette has always been fascinated by how language shapes experiences and identity. She is fluent in Spanish and English, and has also studied Italian, Portuguese, and American Sign Language.
